internet use tracker
what kind of tracker would make sense?
- morning/evening messaging/emails (1 square/day is enough, just fill it out in two halves)
- morning/evening mastodon and blogs (same as above, maybe they could just be One Category - morning/evening social stuff)
- One Video, even if i watch it in bits and pieces (1 square/day is enough, just color it in when the video's done)
- 1h random internet per day (seems like a lot, maybe half an hour??) - maybe posting on my blog, uploading a sketchbook, or just browsing, whatever i need. i think i'd like to do that in one go? i don't want to be tracking how much i've spent already
- how to even track backgammon? 10 points a day? (i usually play 3 point matches so that would work - 3 matches and 1 coin game. but it leaves a lot of room to juggle things around, i could probably be equally satisfied with a 7 point match and 3 coin games, or just 10 coin games? that way i could also try tournaments)
- these were all daily, how do i track the once-a-week tumblr? a separate square off to the side?
i've been vaguely trying it out this week - not really tracking anything but paying attention whether this makes sense at all. i think the socials and the one-vid-for-eating make sense and are perfectly doable, as is the backgammon. but there's still a lot of time to fill and trying to be Creative about it is exhausting, it's very easy to get drawn into something else for hours (like playing on the switch). i'm hoping that the incoming autumn will awaken me from the summer stupor and i'll have more energy to do the active figuring-out sort of things... not sure that counts for much of a plan...
