what my surgeon recommended and i tried to stick with as long as i could. i used it exclusively the first few months, when i was meant to apply it 3x a day but it smells so bad to me. literally makes me kind of sick. over time i've used two small bottles and i don't intend to go back.
basic! unobtrusive! idk if it's good for scars, certainly wasn't specifically engineered for that in contrast to the previous oil. if it gets boring - add a few drops of essential oil! i'm doing clove.
can get expensive, depending where you live. not at all expensive here (very expensive in poland)? if things have to smell, this wasn't half bad, would try again. a feminine smell but kind of old school. reminds me of my cousin's Elegant Grandma and the protective winter cream we used in the 80s. definitely has a luxurious feel. spray applicator comfortable if a little wasteful? if you bring it in real close it's more of a stream, so not too bad.
starting with this oil going forward i'd apply a little more than necessary and finish off by massaging my hands and also running them through my hair. also applying daily moisturizer with just-oiled hands.
word-of-mouth confirmed scar relevance. smells really nice on its own. i like these natural oils because they often come in glass bottles with eye droppers, extra clinking. feels like an old timey chemist's. a real ritual, faffing about with those.
new! also around 1/3 of the price here than what i'm seeing on american amazon? anyway, i don't know if i like it. it Looks like it wants to project an exclusive lush aura, akin to the nuxe but more "bio". but. the smell is somewhere between baby mineral oil and some sort of fruity candy. very... toddler. one good thing about it: the tiny opening for the oil to come out of is set in a little bowl-shape, so whatever you don't pick up on your fingers might just flow back down into the bottle instead of out and over the bottle thread (bio oil has it set in a flat surface...)
