i feel like january was very good at getting me away from time wasting and towards "projects". but i haven't made much progress on responsibilities. i still much prefer the "better" distraction of projects. and maybe it backfired a little bit, because now the distraction feels justified and vindicated. the time is not wasted! but alas, it is also not spent on the things that need to happen.
i tried experimenting this week with changing my "default activity", something hatch from binomech.nesting.garden talked about. i want the default to be "puttering". going around the house and making things better. a little tidy here, a little cleaning there. it's been a very active monday and wednesday this way! but my knee is still busted and i end up spending a lot of time in bed/at the computer. i need a default restful activity...
